Having spoken up for Doc Stock's freedom of speech & right to safety (all be it too late), Adam Tickell is leaving to go to B'ham.

Really feel for all gc students & staff at Sussex. These are quite sinister times.

I'm wondering why more staff aren't leaving. There should be more outrage.
What's the point of working for a university if you're harassed and bullied for thinking for yourself.

Yes, he was appointed to Birmingham ages ago. VCs don't seem to stay long in one place these days. Sussex will have an interim vice-chancellor, Professor David Maguire. No idea what his views are.
