But at the same time apparently it's a disputed theory that most experts are skeptical about. It's the lack of evidence carried out under strict laboratory conditions you see.

I feel physically sick reading that. On other threads today there are apologists for the early stages of this kind of attitude towards women that begins with 'you're closed minded' and 'it hurts me when you won't use the words or do the things I need', and yes, sees women often as non human props.

to you and other women brave enough to keep speaking out Tinsel this is a powerful article and these voices must be heard too.

The fact that these males are being prioritised and fawned over is the most sickening.

It makes me feel that I should share my story.
It was too triggering before and although I was on the transwidows thread, it was brief, as it hurt too much.

I owe it to my sisters to speak out.

Maybe I still will.
We all need to stand up and be counted as victims of these evil men.

Please don't apologise for protecting yourself. And I would say be aware how badly it might trigger you to tell your story and I strongly recommend that you try to line up support for when you do. I did not know how retraumatising sharing my own experience of sexual violence would be and I'm still dealing with the fallout three and half years later. So much so I sometimes wish I hadn't done it, even though it brought good people and good things to my life, too.

That poor, poor woman. Having gone through all that and then being told you’re a bigot, it’s unforgivable. Strength to you Tinsel and all the trans widows.
