Really good piece.

Very moving interviews too, especially with Sinead's family.

David Bell makes some excellent points. Clearly too tricky for Canadian drs to speak out.

I hope this has a profound impact over there.

Thanks OP, I'd been hoping someone would post a link to this

It's an excellent film; it's notable that they've not spoken to any Canadian detransitioners though.

Almost as if they don't want to be too critical of Canadadian gatekeeping.

Yes, I was just coming on to post this too. Really good video.

A disturbing overview of the current stakes for children and young people.

It's also a reminder of just how many legal cases we need to fund now that Keira is looking to appeal this to our Supreme Court.

WarriorN · 24/10/2021 20:08

It is isn't it.

Goes to show how scared their gender clinics are of going against the status quo that no one could be persuaded to talk on the matter.

David Bell is so fantasticaly clear when he speaks about these issues. You couldn’t argue with that man. He knows what’s up.

And I hope more than anything wonderful Kiera had paved the way for more detransitioners feel free to take this further and sue. The ball’s already rolling. Fast.

Baby steps. What a coincidence that CBC managed to rustle up an opinion piece critical of the extreme elements of trans activism, on the same day the CTV documentary dropped.

Are they one of the major Canadian media outlets? If so it's a sign that some of the adults in Canada are finally waking up and starting to pay attention. I really hope so.

Yes. There are basically two major networks that offer national television news, the CBC, and CTV.

This is a W5 piece which has a long and distinguished history as an investigative journalism show.

This is a really big deal.

This is great then isn't it.

There's definitely a ripple effect going on across the globe.

Tangential but related - Gresham College has a medical ethics lecture this lunchtime on children and consent to medical treatment.

Yes, for sure.

The W5 bit was very very mild, but it's more than has ever been publicly discussed here. Along with that written piece by the transwoman that Atwood posted few days ago.

I would like to see something mainstream about the prison protests next.
