I don't think we have shared this here. Here is a collection of the questions we regularly get around school policy and resources and our answers.

We are getting more and more questions from worried parents and teachers and hope that this resource will help.

This is so useful, and timely for me.

Thank you so much for putting this together and for all the work you do!

This is excellent. Thankyou so much for everything.

Yes, thanks from me too. Lots of eye-rolling - and not just from the kids - when some of these resources get trotted out....

More and more teachers are contacting us with their concerns about school resources and policies as well as parents.

That's a good resource 2fallsfromSSA And I'm glad that teachers are starting to whistleblow about some of the the appalling guidelines that trans activists are writing for schools. Anyone sceptical, just look at the shocker that's detailed in this thread:

OP, thanks for everything you do to help us parents and teachers.

May I ask, are we parents entitled to have sight of the teaching materials schools are using (in my case, Jigsaw)? I had a back and forth with the school last academic year, but they never did send me the info I asked for, and I felt like I was badgering them at a time they were under a lot of pressure with home schooling/covid, so didn't press for it.

Thank you so much SSA. I was heartened when I spoke to the head of PSHE at dds school that she had heard of Safe Schools Alliance and read some of your materials. You are doing amazing work!

Thank you @MsGoodenough!

@Pterfodactyl yes if they consult properly as per DfE guidance they should share the materials. If there are copyright issues (ie, cannot send out the PDFs of lesson plans) then schools could find another way. It's covered under the first point on this recourse but ultimately I would be very suspicious if providers were not happy for the school to share with parents.

It's the most common block we see.
