So tempted to hop on a train and come up, but realistically thinking baby wouldn't appreciate the long day.

Think it's spectacularly ironic that my 'woman's work' prevents me from protesting women's rights.

One of the accusations of the other side is it's only older women in these protests and younger women aren't represented. But we can't risk our jobs or family safety. Very grateful for those that are there today holding the line.

What a brilliant idea and I love the signs. My husband - less on board than me with GC ideas- was sniggering about the utter intellectual inconsistency of referring to women by bodily parts and functions and IN THE VERY SAME ISSUE referring to “men”. No double standards here then. It’s not even just ideologically flawed, it’s intellectually sloppy too. Default made writ large.
I used to attend Lancet conferences and it has always been obvious Richard Horton fancies himself something rotten. Super Woke Wally.

I want to go and can go (although it will be difficult due to disibility) but I don't have any signs or clothing with appropriate lingo and would just be bringing my bog standard self.

Come without signage. Organiser is bringing lanyards for protesters and leaflets for people to hand out. My resisters group has twice as much signage as people! People share, it’s about many people showing strength of feeling together. If You have a school run this afternoon just come to the lancet.

Definitely go without signage. I'm happy for anyone to print mine out so I am there in spirit too!
