Just read this article in The Observer
www.theguardian.com/society/2021/oct/02/the-81-women-killed-in-28-weeks
My heart breaks for all these women and their families. I'm angry and upset, grateful that Karen Ingala Smith wrote about it, grateful that The Observer printed it.
I'm taking out a subscription for The Observer. Not the Guardian.
From the Observer campaign End Femicide:
Name it - the killing of women by men;
Know it - data collection (how does that work when crimes are recorded according to gender and not biological sex?!?!);
Stop it - cross-party strategies to tackle VAWG (who knows whether/when that will come into our collective consciousness?!)
