"What we've learned here today is that Labour policy seems to effectively be subcontracted to the frauds at Stonewall, the lunatics at Pink News and the ghouls in the gender butchery industry. All assisted by Vichy homosexuals and the rainbow borg who shout down female MPs"

LGBT+ people have been disproportionally affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

How ? genuine question

PronounssheRa · 29/09/2021 20:58

@WinterTrees

Wasn't the fragrant Patricia, who was so viciously abused by a leaflet in the women's toilets yesterday, a member of Pendle CLP?
Yes, coincidence I think not
Whatthechicken · 29/09/2021 21:08

@BloomingTrees I’d like to know too! If there was no sources or references, I find it very worrying that people just swallow what they are told and vote for it!

@BloomingTrees

LGBT+ people have been disproportionally affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

How ? genuine question

The new draft LGBTQ+ Action Plan for Wales also said this, and gave this as the source: www.equalityhumanrights.com/en/publication-download/how-coronavirus-has-affected-equality-and-human-rights

The EHRC document says: "there is some limited evidence that LGBT people were unable to access healthcare, or medication during the coronavirus pandemic and are at increased risk of homelessness, lower employment, and restricted access to healthcare and other inequalities (LGBT Foundation, 2020). However, there are wide-ranging gaps in the evidence for these groups."

The LGBT Foundation document is here if anyone wants to plough through it:
lgbt.foundation/coronavirus/hiddenfigures

But I think the fact that the EHRC say 'limited evidence' and talk about 'wide-ranging gaps in evidence' indicates that there isn't much (if any) evidence at all.

Conversion therapies are both unethical and harmful

Great news, does this mean they will stop encouraging the correctional rape of lesbians through coercion tactics and teach transwomen to accept sexual rejection instead?
