I can completely understand this, but it is sad to see how the Guardian has become so diminished in the past few years.

Gutted that Hadley is no longer doing her weekly column! I’ve just scoured the new magazine to find her - but nothing.

Such a clever and funny way with words. Bet she’s had some better offers.

Why is it all the women journalists that leave / stop writing columns? If they cancel Marina Hyde I’ll start buying the Times.

The Glass House book is extremely well researched and reads as a thriller at times, if also a very sad one.

Hopefully she’ll write more books too…??

The new magazine is a mess although I see they still manage to find 5 pages for the ubiquitous Bernardine Evaristo.

Just found Hadley on Twitter… @HadleyFreeman
Two pro feminist tweets in 24 hours.

I think that’s pretty significant, in light of her departure from the Guardian column.

Weekend magazine. It’s so big I don’t know where to start.
