Ed Davies has just been on radio 4 at 7.55 am and said that he does not believe there should be any safe spaces for women and girls where biological men are not allowed to go.

Problem is that he wants debate and 'agreement'.
As we all know this debate will be conducted primarily by men. I also fear that the new police officer in charge of leadng the force on protecting women and girls will be a man. Any bets?

I didn't hear the interview. What's the context?
That's a really depressing thing for such a senior politician to come out and say. Women really aren't allowed to say no are they?

Well at least he was clear in his stance

Interviewer: “Do you think there should be places in our society where biological males can’t go?”

ED: “No”

Just like that. “No”

It’s funny how strong that word is when a male is saying it when apparently it holds zero power for females using it.
