Primarily aimed at Muslim women and women who have been sexually assaulted.
It is a great initiative. I can't help worrying that it will run into difficulties when other people demand to be admitted.

Is it a club like a gym? Or a social club?

If it's aimed at Muslim women it'll be a fucking travesty if it's not allowed to remain female only.

Ramla spoke eloquently about how important women only spaces are for these women and how few there are.

I think this to be true particularly in this circumstance.

All the best to their female only club. I hope it stays that way and that the gender zealots leave them alone.

Lawyers on both sides are waiting for a test case though. I think if a female only space/service was set up, and a male with a GRC demanded to be allowed to use it, then there's potential for a court case to prove the single-sex exemptions apply, even with a GRC.

Great news. Boxing is such a good way to keep fit, but obviously including men in sparring carries an unacceptable level of risk to women.

I hope they get to keep it that way. It could play such an important part in the community and women's lives. The support you find in these sort of things bleeds into other aspects of people's lives and breeds true solidarity and friendship.

Apart from Katie Piper I didn't know who the other two were till now but had no idea that the blonde wasn't born female. She's one of the few trans women I think truly "passes".

Cosmetic surgery, good lighting and gender performance can certainly fool the eye for a few, yes. 'Tis very 'authentic self', innit?

The face passes, but she's masive and the muscular torso is male.

She doesn't pass if you see her walking down the road in real life. Make up, facial surgery and clever camera angles are what enable her to pass.

There's a reason that Paris is sitting down when appearing with the other two in the same shot.

To be fair to myself, I haven't paid that much attention to the ad previously (I buy my toiletries in Poundland). So I've not been interested enough to Google who they were.
