Protest against housing men in women's prisons in WA state, USA

The harm being done to vulnerable women in prisons is shocking. Men's feelings seem always to trump women's rights, dignity, safety.

Not sure which state but the they.. went to court? So as not to have to release numbers of males in women's prisons.

Just thought as well.

No evidence etc just a thought.

I would put money on all the men in women's prisons on gender id being white.

Because the USA system is just fucked in so many ways.

Racist to the max.

The things I have seen from usa about transwomen being attacked etc have been black people. That I've seen.

But I would put money on it not being black transwomen in there. Even if long term etc.

I am cynical though and could well be wrong.

If they won't release the info then who knows.

The problem is the issue is completely red-blue partisan in the US, where both sides use the terms sex and gender interchangeably and synonymously.

Add to that the fact that US prison are brutal places that would never meet European standards and any MtF transitioner who has had any medical intervention would be at great risk.
