I am again in awe of the experience this woman brings to the table.

And she is simply not afraid. This is what the House of Lords is for.

Fabulous. Thank you Baroness - you appear so fearless but I'm sure you're not, yet you do it anyway.

And thank you to the Daily Mail for printing it because I'm damn sure my former newspaper wouldn't.

An old fashioned word I know, but that woman is admirable.

It's really striking that almost no-one wants a mixed sex ward - patients or NCPs and almost no-one agrees with it as a concept. And yet policy is formed around it. How are institutions so easily captured in the teeth of such obvious opposition?
