In the early days of the men’s rights movement, they did say they were willing to go to great lengths to “get women back in the kitchen” and to put women “back in our place”. I firmly believe that the tra and mra Movements are closely aligned in that they want unlimited access to women, women to have to defer to men in all aspects of public and private life, and for women to have less recourse to report abuse from men (sexual, physical) lest we be labeled phobic etc. less able to leave abusive marriages etc.
They are pretty much working for the same goal. Women a second class citizens with even less rights than men no matter how they identify and no right to say no to a man ever. Sexual access to women and girls is high up on the priority list for both groups. Preventing women from being able to say no to our boundaries being violated is high up on the prio list (govt forcing women to have sexual with incels anyone?). Forced marriage and assigned partners for western women- lesbian women being forced to accept male bodied “women” for relationships. If you read what it is mra and tra want it’s scarily similar.
Different side of the same coin.
I think we underestimated the lengths they were willing to go to. It might sound very conspiracy theory, but what other reason would they be telling women and girls to get used to men in our spaces or stay home. Because that’s pretty much what is being said to us.
