To be honest, neither side here covered themselves with glory. I wouldn't be wanting to align myself with the US religious right wing either, whose own mysogyny and anti-women rhetoric and policies are equally legendary. Those "peaceful" protesters stirring up rumours of paedophiles have their own agendas, and on other days can be found bombing abortion clinics. Whatever your personal position with regard to transgender people, this says far more about the US than it does about any transgender position. I won't be lauding either side as impeccable champions of anything other than their own bigotry and violence.

Please don't talk shite. You're embarrassing yourself.
FFS. I've had my abortion delayed in the United Kingdom because of religious protestors. I had to wait for an appt at a hospital that wasn't regularly picketed. (my choice). The little old ladies with their rosaries didn't scare me they just made a difficult time, far more difficult.
This is the same in America. Most violence against abortion clinics was 20/30 years ago and almost exclusively by men. Women not being thick enough to think they can kill pregnant women and not also kill their unborn fetuses. The woman there, religious or not, was holding a sign.
To play the "bad on both sides" and say she hasn't covered herself in glory. FUCK GLORY. A sign is just a sign. That's protest, that's freew speech.
Men touching a woman and physically moving her on, is just more male violence. Telling a woman where she is even allowed ot be in this world. It's quite fucked when you think of it.
