Posting here because it seems he has been discussing gender and transactivism and been threatened with the police.
That isn't mentioned until way down the article though.

How odd.

I like the use of the ‘but’ at the end of one of his sentences about how he’s been in Glasgow for a while to prove he’s been in Glasgow for a while.

It’s almost a tautological ‘but’, ken? 😜

It is, aye.

Activists have been going after him for a few weeks now. They tried to get his employer to sack him

None of them seem to have clocked how nasty this behaviour looks from the outside yet, have they?

'Think Wrong? We will destroy your life. Yay glitter!'

There was a Twitter spat between Dailly and Heather Herbert a few weeks ago where Herbert tried to pretend they were too clever to directly call Dailly a transphobe and then called him a transphobe.

I hope that Heather Herbert's views aren't indicative of the views of Scottish Labour, for whom Herbert stood (and lost) as both a list and constituency candidate in the 2021 Holyrood elections. They do wonderful work and it would be unfortunate if the sexist, misogynist dog whistles of a member and former candidate "where" to damage their reputation.

Labour stopped supporting women's rights several years ago.

During the campaign Sarwar came quite close to signalling Scottish Labour support for sex-based rights and the tone seemed different from the sort of thing coming from Rayner, Butler, Nandy et al (or Starmer if he’d ever actually say anything).

Wasn’t Heather Herbert going to be going through some sort of Labour Party disciplinary process in the wake of Heather Herbert’s Twitter activity?
