Well done University of Essex and EU Horizon 2020 programme

I just received a survey from the university of Essex who are part of a Horizon 2020 project on research integrity. I was pleasantly surprised to see this question in the survey.

Given the massive sex based inequities in academia, it's great to see they are assessing on the basis of sex.

Have Essex had to examine their figurative university conscious lately ?

Ah. Just did a google and see that they cancelled Jo Phoenix for being gender critical.

I'm not in the UK so not fully au fait with which universities are currently batshit. Maybe they have learned something since 2019. Or maybe the project co-ordinators, who are from Aarhus had something to do with it.

Or the lead in Essex is a quantitative social scientist and Professor of Research Methodology and so presumably understands the importance of facts?
