Not before time, the LS has revised its policy on single-sex spaces. Notwithstanding the overwhelmingly GC tone of the comments on this article (and the separate one about pronouns guidance) the Society still subscribes to the Stonewall kool-aid. One commentator has even pointed out the inherent legal inaccuracies in the 'diversity championship' manifesto. It's laughable that the solicitor's professional body can't apply the law accurately and fairly.
The membership isn't all pale, stale and male: first and foremost they're lawyers and they obviously get it. Maybe, they weren't (and haven't been) consulted on the Stonewall issue because the high hedyins at the LS knew they'd get given short shrift?
