My DS14 school are planning to do a diversity week run by Just Like Us. My DD10 does not go to the same school but is 'gender non conforming' (a tomboy in my day) and has very short hair/prefers masculine clothes but knows she is a girl and has no dysphoria. I keep up with her school and I'm happy they are not going to be teaching gender identity or that you can be born in the wrong body (I have that in writing). Most bystanders would say she is a boy. I've looked at the Just Like Us website and am worried by their list of guest speakers. I've spoken to my son (again) to re-emphasise the dangers of girls being told they are boys and should transition (I've had to step in with her previous school who wanted mermaids involved). Anyone know about Just Like Us, are they similar to Stonewall and should I delve deeper into what will be taught? DS is sensible and pragmatic, but concerned about when DD gets to the school.
