The Women’s Health Strategy consultation is still open until 13/06/21, and I’d like to gather some thoughts together to input.

I’ve had a quick google and a search on MN but I think because the consultation has been open since March it’s meant the search results are getting mixed up with lots of other stuff.

Does anyone have any good resources for helping put together a coherent response? Obviously I’d like it to be in my own words but in the past I’ve used campaign websites to help me get my thoughts in order so I’m hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction here as well

I fed into it - it’s really not well advertised (or I missed it).
I’m hitting menopause and realising nothing is set up properly for women, NICE guidelines seem out of date, pharmas flog stuff without bothering to do new research.
Maybe it’s the same for men, but that shouldn’t stop women having the right to set their medical agenda and needs. Anyway I said that but let’s see.
Have you started filling it in? It doesn’t allow for much free response; it’s bucketed into areas and a lot is tick box or repetition on the same categories.
I’m not interested in siloed (sp?) subjects, I realise with my recent (and probably lifelong) experienced that I want women to have a proper say across the board on our healthcare.

the women on the autism thread would really help autistic women and girls if they fed back to the government consultation.
