They played a clip asking how it made the student feel to be investigated.

I just heard that - it’s on today? I assume it’s recorded rather than live. Has anyone heard it?

somethinginoffensive · 20/05/2021 07:49

I assume it's a recorded interview but I think on air today

I’d listen but I slept (badly) for about 2 hours last night, and the sound bar will be thrown out the window today if it gets my blood pressure up... classic FM today I think.

UppityPuppity · 20/05/2021 08:06

The clip was bullshit.

They ‘conveniently’ missed out the fact that she was under investigation for saying that a woman is what every (normal) listener will also think what a woman is.

My view of WH is so dimmed that I bet they purposefully did that to stop the uninitiated audience realise the batshittery of all of this - otherwise why would they hide the most extraordinary part of the story in the clip.

WH and the BBC is a joke.

At least they are covering the issue now. This debate needs to be in the mainstream.

I thought this was on Woman's Hour a couple of days ago.

Abitofalark · 20/05/2021 16:27

Yes, Royal Corgi, She was on the programme a few days ago, maybe Monday, and was asked how she felt and whether she regretted saying what she did (the latter question, three times, would you believe, under interrogation from Officer Barnett; you would have thought she'd done something wrong, committed a crime or something).

I don't know what this clip reference is. I heard Woman's Hour today and I didn't notice it. Maybe I missed a bit if I left the room briefly or attention wandered.

It might have been a trailer for Saturday's show which is a "greatest hits" of the shows in the week or an invitation for listeners to send messages to be read out then.

The interview was originally broadcast on Tuesday:

Ah sorry, I misheard, thought it was the trailer for today.

No worries, the more people who hear about this the better.
