I just wanted a bit of perspective before I complained.

Firstly is this norma,l in the sense, are other local papers promoting masectomies?

Secondly does anyone know whether the paper which is part of a group (what was called Trinity Mirror, think it's now Reach or similar) will have guidelines on when it is appropriate to link directly to someone's funder. Surely they wouldn't link to just anything someone asked for eg Brazilian butt lift, tattoo of Harold Wilson, new car. Are there likely to be guidelines I can ask for a copy of?

Here’s the press code of conduct but it does seem to conflict with this www.ipso.co.uk/editors-code-of-practice/
Encouraging elective surgery is concerning

Doesn’t I mean, autocorrect on this site is weird

It's not the first. The last time I saw one on here, it was actually on behalf of a Reach employee, although it wasn't obvious.

It's an easy fundraising story with all the buzzwords du jour, quick to bash out and worth the clicks. There will probably be no deeper thought to it than that (and it shows -the copy and paste Stonewall glossary is a worry).

You'd probably have to complain to the publication before going to IPSO? Whether or not the editor would have the critical thinking to give a toss would be another matter.
