So, what has she done for feminism, being one of the most powerful women in the country? If she's been a 'lifelong' feminist, I expect she has a good solid history of advocating, awareness raising, working to help other women, yes?
Or is she just a 'feminist' in the sense that she's happy to take advantage of the gains made by other women who sacrificed their time/safety/reputations in order for her to have the freedom/right/ability to become a successful, powerful woman?
And she is happy to ignore rape and death threats if she feels the women on the receiving end are a threat to her professional reputation. Happy to dismiss the concerns raised by so many women. Happy to patronise us with a 'consultation' that is in fact intended to 'convince' us of her preconceived outcome.
Sturgeon is a skilled politician. But I wasn't aware feminism was something she actively supported.
