I used the parliamentary one - they will usually forward emails like this (ie supportive) to the constituency office who will pass them on* (and filter out the horrible threats etc).

• even if as a general 'you've had lots of supportive emails' message at this stage; although normally they'd be forwarded as a bundle. And it really does give a person a boost to be sent kind messages by lots of people.

Interesting timing, given both the upcoming election and the launch of Alex Salmond’s Alba Party today.

Reminds me of the time JC was seeking nomination as an SNP candidate and threw her hat in the ring in more than one constituency.

Anyway, I wish her well for a speedy recovery and a subsequent career of renewed vigour in either the SNP or Alba Party.

I very much doubt it but if she does Cherry will lose all shred of credibility. I know many on here are happy to overlook Salmond's questionable behaviour but is Cherry going to align herself with a party which will be fielding candidates convicted of perjury and contempt of court?

I don't think having potential law- makers who have no respect for 2 of the fundamental principles of our legal system is a terribly good idea.
