The solution is a "sex app" apparently

Australians have derided a suggestion by the New South Wales (NSW) police commissioner that an app could be used to register sexual consent.

On Thursday, Mick Fuller championed the idea of an app where people could digitally record their mutual agreement to have sex.

He said the technology could be used to establish "positive consent".

@30PercentRecycled

This shows they think the real problem is women lying about consent and/or men being confused about whether consent was actually given or not.
This is also true. There is so much scandal with our Attorney General currently on sick leave over an alleged rape (1988) and she suicided last year. Another alleged government rape has surfaced after it was kept quiet for two years, then the prime minister refused to join the March for women and stated its a triumph they were not met with bullets. It's an embarrassment. www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/australia-news/2021/mar/15/scott-morrison-declares-it-a-triumph-that-march-4-justice-rallies-not-met-with-bullets

Oh god this made me so angry this morning. My stupid mra fuckwit bil is always banging on about consent contracts. Anyone with even a fragment of a brain who doesn't completely dispise women can see the multitude of problems with it. It's actually insane that women are still having to explain why things like this are a bad idea. Even leaving aside the fact that consent can be both coerced and withdrawn at any time, we live in a world where things like "we'll you kissed him on the way home, you slept with him last week etc" are used against us after rape. Can you imagine how much worse it would get if there were actual previous signed contracts between the victim and the rapist? It makes me so so angry!
