Christopher Elston, 'the billboard guy' who has been campaigning to raise awareness in Canada of the use of puberty blockers on children was attacked by a group of seven people (he thinks it was pre-meditated) using various weapons like a traffic cone to hit him around the head and broke his arm.
He campaigns on the streets with a billboard talking to people about the risks to children and is entirely peaceful. He didn't fight back against these people because apparently the police previously didn't take too kindly to him defending himself.
They smashed his boards up and took his bodycam but he filmed some of the attack. The police are involved and a news channel may pick it up although in Canada, there is such a level of capture that that may get suppressed quickly.
Some people really really don't want the public to understand the risks of giving powerful, body changing drugs to children. Canada is the place where children can be given puberty blockers/hormones against their parents wishes.
