More men are needed to speak up. I do appreciate him raising the topic. Especially as he is a name in the arts which has very strong policy capture and corresponding chilling effect for dissenters to be able to feel free to speak up.
I really don’t care if men who speak up don’t do it perfectly, or aren’t perfect people in their other views. I don’t care if they aren’t very well informed or whatever about it. They’ll reach some people that women speaking up won’t reach. That’s just reality and since the wider social debate on this needs to happen as soon as possible, the more people who talk about it the better.
