She makes some excellent points and there's nothing here I can disagree with.

The point about students being consumers is very astute - the removal of free higher eduction might be one of the things that set us off down this path.

This is very good indeed. Selina Todd is great. And she's right about the problem with having a 'free speech champion' because what we really need is a consultation and open debate. The government should force universities and the NUS to explain themselves.
