Gvmt consultation 'violence against women and girls'.
We still have a few days to complete this consultation, until the evening of 19/2/2021.
It's in a questionnaire format, easy to complete but with a couple of text boxes where we can type freely. Please ladies, let's all submit forms & say that genital mutilation of girls by doctors should be a crime

The whole survey does seem rather slanted towards trying to get us to moan about online stuff. I refused to go down that rabbit-hole, & to keep my concerns to real violence.
Where it asks 'Are there any other things which should be Crimes' (or words to that effect) it then gives us 3 free-text boxes.
Can we all suggest that unnecessary medical interventions (such as gender reassignment and hormone treatments) on perfectly healthy girls should be criminalised? (but in your own words of course)
I also got in somewhere on the form the crime reporting problem (ie the rubbish of mens-crimes-as-womens). Also that we should be protecting girls/women, not putting them at risk of violence, and then looking to the law to provide a remedy.
