We've had lots of discussions on here about left vs. right and who our allies are, well here's a good read by Megan Murphy. Makes you wonder how many out there drop in to see us

That's a great article. Let me have another few cups of coffee and I'll try and think of something more worth while to say about it.

I agree. Just read it. I stopped conflating the Left as being the synonymous with real feminism ages ago.

It's the macro representation of the "but I'm a nice guy,why won't she have sex with me?" whinge.

We're the nice party, why won't women just shut up,support us and give up their rights ? We've been nice to them,why can't they just be nice back and get fucked (literally or figuratively) in the process?

Real nice guys don't need to self proclaim it. It shows.

DD always said that any man stating that he was a “nice guy” on a dating site was an immediate red flag. It would never occur to a genuinely nice one that it needed to be said - it would be a given.

I think sometimes we are afraid of just sticking to our aims of women's rights and not concerning ourselves with our allies. Not sure how possible that is in today's environment where we are slandered and abused for upholding the rights of women.

Anyone done or doing the GEO consultation. At first sight it looks like office moves etc., but it could be a move to get rid of Liz Truss. I am arguing that women's rights should be a stand alone department because it represents 51% of the population and it also represents women in the Race, religion, sexual orientation, disability groups. In Liz We Trust (not sure that's accurate but it is a good saying - must have picked it up on here)

I think the closing date is 17th Feb. I'm thinking about it now. It's obviously a way to get rid of Liz Truss and replace her with an LBGT zealot. Make the department more like the ECHR under David Isaacs.
