I'm not generally a fan of KK but I think she's absolutely right in this and others should make a stand. But she's in a fortunate position where she can afford to make this decision, unlike other actors. She also makes other comments which come dangerously close to what could be described by certain people as 'transphobe' territory, so I hope they don't come for her too.

TBH I think that they'd be better to get rid of sex scenes altogether. Imagine, if all the actresses refused to do them, as a block, it would become impossible to push young actresses into them to get a break.

Given that there are women porn directors, I'm not sure that requiring a female director is really going to make a huge difference. People do what they think will get them audiences and backers in most cases.

The thing that I hate more than anything is all the gratuitous rape scenes, filmed either to show as much female flesh as possible and fear, and during an the actual rape shown from the pov of the rapist.
