Why are we still hearing songs littered with lyrics intended to degrade women?

It’s completely unacceptable to have racist or homophobic lyrics yet it’s still considered acceptable for men to put women down and call them bitches etc. for entertainment purposes.

Why do men feel it’s ok to write songs like this?

And why do women sing and play them?

Difficult to put my thoughts into words but there has been a cultural use of words such as Ho and Bitch in songs and it is reckoned that it is in everyday use. The sexism in some cultures is at very high levels but may not be tackled because of the possibility of racism being suggested it is an underlying factor.

This again highlights the clashes between some protected characteristics in the EA.

Why are women always at the back of the queue considering we are the most oppressed and terrorised group in history.

Well that's the million dollar question isn't it, and the key to all of our problems.
