Even with a GRC you do not have to be treated as female in relation female-only spaces - as Liz Truss recently reiterated. So in that instance if someone knew in a professional capacity that someone else was a transgender woman with a GRC presumably they could still deny them access to female spaces? They just couldn't tell anyone else why...
