Following the notorious Wollstonecraft:

The Woolf statue, and one to Sylvia Pankhurst, which is languishing in need of digs.

Sent too soon. I was just correcting the original link. Thanks for posting.

I love the Woolf statue and that it allows you to sit next to her. I love that it's contemplative and I think the debate triggered by whether she should have a half smile or not hones in much more neatly on the woman herself than the 'debate' around whether Mary Wollstonecraft should be a naked barbie propelled from an ejaculation.

Thanks, Cross! Agree, Hecates, I love the idea of sitting next to the statue like that. Simple and effective.

Donated.

Also, while the Wollstonecraft is an abomination, I’m quite pleased by the attention it has attracted to both her and to the lack of female statues. I don’t think the runner up would have done that so I think it’s worked out well.

Yes, it really did propel MW into the public eye, Beans.

I've started reading Frankenstein on the back of it, too!
