Drag queen named after murdered 6 year old girl

Today I came across a drag queen called "JonBenet Blonde".

It took me a minute to get my head around it, I was so horrified - the name is clearly a "play" on JonBenet Ramsey, the beauty pageant 6 year old found murdered in her parents' basement in the 1990s.

How low can you go? Can we except to see a "Madeleine McCann" drag queen soon too?

The more I learn about drag the more I can't believe that such a sexist, misogynist movement is tolerated let alone lauded.

Yeah, there's no excuse for that really. It's not even a name in its own right- her parents invented it.

It does seem to be a thing, offensive names. Like aida h d or whatever she's called. Designed to shock. Agree its bad taste.

NonCisWoman · 11/11/2020 19:53

Pathetic. This person is deliberately using this child's murder for attention and shock value.

A child who was sexually assaulted and murdered.

Words fail.

AnyFucker · 11/11/2020 20:38

Nothing surprises me from that "community"

ThatIsNotMyUsername · 11/11/2020 20:39

Tasteless.

Nackajory · 11/11/2020 20:40

Misogynistic, disrespectful to the murdered child, very bad taste indeed. Words are not enough really.

Suitable to read kids books in a library or primary school no doubt.
