Enslaved Yazidi women separated from children

I can't begin to comprehend what these women have been through. Enslaved by Isis, 'rescued' but separated from their children because their home country won't accept the offspring of extremists. I have no words for the way they have been treated by men.

That's horrifying, they went through hell for years and now their own community forces them to give up their children.

Their stories are some of the hardest I've ever read.

When we talk about human rights and violations and rights to a family, rights to be free, etc we should be focusing on women like this.

It’s not complicated. Just the same old, same old.

Terrible story. I hope something can be done to help these women.

Those elders are the ones doing that.

This has been an appalling story for some time. And it feels so hopeless in terms of doing anything.
