Thanks for this!

Great line up - online via zoom and free - with links to some women centred charities for those who are able to contribute.

We are really pleased to be participating in this.

Looking forward to 'seeing' some Mumsnetters!

stumbledin · 04/10/2020 23:48

I think it has been so popular they have had to increase capacity.

Do think that Mumsnet FWR should get an honourable mention for keeping this issue in the public sphere!

This is happening today! Smile

EarthSight · 18/10/2020 10:37

Just made a thread about this this morning. Glad I saw this one.

Socrates11 · 18/10/2020 11:23

Excellent reminder. Watched this 15 minute presentation by Alice Sullivan last night discussing academic freedom. From a great evening put on by Cambridge Radical Feminist Network, December 2019, looking at Gender Critical Feminism in Public & Academic Discourse.

More recordings of the evening are available on YouTube.

PlonitbatPlonit · 18/10/2020 13:29

Who is registered for this? Over 900 registrations - which is not far off the number for Women's Liberation 2020 conference back in pre-pandemic February.

stumbledin · 18/10/2020 15:30

Does anyone know if this will be recorded and released later as an online video.

Fingers crossed as I wont be online at the time of the event.

900!!

anyone else logged in to this?

Melroses · 18/10/2020 17:22

I tried, but it won't let me on.

Hopefully it will be recorded.

Melroses · 18/10/2020 17:24

Got on Grin

NonnyMouse1337 · 18/10/2020 17:56

Webinar is being recorded and slides will also be available later.

pombear · 18/10/2020 18:31

If you missed it, but want to take action, here's Kiri Tunk's request for action:

Tonight, please email Liz Truss, ONS and your MP - it will take 10 minutes and there are 500 people on this call.

Then get other people you know to do the same.

Available on WPUK channel on YouTube shortly. I urge you to watch it, it was excellent. The history of how the census was captured is utterly shocking.

The ONS are holding an AMA

Watching this I'm thinking how wrong it was for Jane G on Woman's Hour to say 'some people label it transphobic'. Here it is in public with professors and researchers calmly presenting facts. It's a must watch. Unlike the APPG with secret meetings and no minutes spreading disinformation and Crispin Blunt trying to erase women's rights in private meetings.
