This brings back such vivid memories of Scottish union officials. I can almost hear the voice.

Reminds me of the film ‘Made in Dagenham’ - you would have hoped the unions would have moved on from how they were represented there but it seems not.

This reminds me of women talking of socialist movements and how women were told that they’d look at their problems once they’d fixed the masses (ie men’s).
