She's been rold she needs to leave if she's not happy being inclusive
This is the bit that really annoys me.
The whole point of these type of groups is to facilitate a place where people who share a common interest/goal/sport/experience etc can converge.
By their very nature they are not inclusive in the sense the value is derived from a shared narrative/experience/interest, something that is eroded if the relevant premise for entry into the group is eroded.
No one would bat an eyelid if the admins of group about golf rejected potential new members who were football fans with no interest in or understanding of golf. No one would say "we need to be more inclusive and let the football fans join even if they derail the focus of the group".
No, they'd say this is a group for golf and if you want to talk about football then by all means start your own group.
The football fans wouldn't scream and shout because their identity as sports fans was being erased by the golfers.
This isn't about inclusiveness. It's about women being asked to validate men who get kicks from eroding women's spaces - both physically and online.
There's absolutely no reason why someone with XY chromosomes would have any reason to join a group on periods unless it was for the purposes of fetishising.
Women know that yet they are then expected to continue to post knowing a random bloke is getting kicks from their experiences.
It's sickening.
