RSE in schools; self ID may be off the table, but gender ideology in schools marches on

More excellent coverage from Caroline ffiske. If journalists in mainstream newspapers were publishing stuff half as good as this we might have had more people waking up to it.

a good article, thanks for sharing.

Repeating myself I know, but this does deserve massive exposure in the national press. Writers like Caroline have laid it all out, yet we still only see occasional articles on one or two particular resources.

If someone pulled all this together people would be utterly shocked, yet the newspapers continue to tiptoe around the issue of RSE in schools being captured by lobby groups, who seem to have worrying obsessions with anal sex and removing girls' boundaries.

This isn't about one resource, there are dozens and the themes are all similar.

Why is AIBU not full of threads saying 'WTF?! I found this in my child's school'? Because most parents don't know about it, that's why.

Cui bono?

Thank you - articles coming thick and fast - hard to keep up with them!

A reminder that it is compulsory for schools (primary, not sure about secondary) to consult with parents about the RSE lessons. There are somethings they have to cover but the 'slant' will be up to the school. Write to your school and request to be involved.

Thanks OP.

Reminds me that I really must write a letter to school.

Hello, I was home schooling when my son's school introduced some gender identity material for reception year. I asked for their RSE policy and they don't have one yet!! I'm talking to the head tomorrow. I'm so angry about this. Children cannot access puberty blockers at least not from the NHS but they can be told that they are of the opposite sex in schools. They read a book called Introducing Teddy.

You're right to be concerned and schools have been completely captured by political lobby groups. Safe Schools Alliance UK has some great advice and support for parents in how to tackle this in schools with sample letters etc:
