Posted this several months ago but I looked it up again this eve as (esp reading about the MW change) in need of a chuckle! So thought I would share again.

I can't listen to the Akaroa Cannon,I just see DS aged about 6 sitting on a cannon in Dorset,and as he's now at uni it just makes me 😫😢

Akaroa Cannon is beautiful and so moving. Love Pam Ayers. There is one poem of hers I can no longer listen to about the loss of her dog and no more putter patter of their paws in the hallway. Cried so much at that one

I've never heard Akaroa Cannon before. I won't forget
it now.
