I've just seen this
www.prideandlessprejudice.org/available-book-bundles
An American organisation which donates book bundles to schools and pre-schools in the US. I wholeheartedly applaud the notion of kids books featuring people everyone can relate to. Having read some of the descriptions though, they are a mixed bag and some seem unbelievably regressive (based on the description alone, which I'm aware is dodgy ground).

This is so frustrating... because obviously diversifying the literature available to kids is an excellent idea, but LGB kids are already so vulnerable to trans-ideology. But separating the two strands out seems almost impossible!

Jack not Jackie looked a bit rubbish, but the rest all seemed fine - a mixture of same-sex relationships, kids who don't conform to gender stereotypes who aren't trans and kids who don't conform to gender stereotypes who are trans.

I think it's become clear over the past year or so that 'separating' LGB from T is a non-starter. The only vaguely visible organisation (and i use the term loosely) attempting to do it is the LGB Alliance and the absolute mess they seem to make of even typing words out in the right order, is really as good an example as any of why it isn't workable. On good days i'm convinced they're some kind of pro-Trans activist team, deliberately making GC people look bad.
