It's pretty old so sorry if you've all seen it before, I just stumbled on this on youtube and I had to watch it twice, it did amuse me

Why is he standing up for women's rights? What's it to do with him?

"I have a genetic history of women in my family... it skipped a generation with me, but it I have a daughter I bet she'd be one because I'm a carrier."

Grin

He's funny, I watched another one. He was the red head who was bullied. Wrote a book about it and how it channelled his comedy.

"I'm a carrier" 🤣

I think he is more defending himself from “next” rather than defending women?

Onesailwait · 18/08/2020 18:43

I've seen a few of this guys videos & I think the whole heckler thing is set up. His whole act is about hecklers & he always comes out looking like some kind of 'hero' he has a whole channel based on it I dont by it as genuine.

Oh cringe!! He’s a “nice guy”. 😂

Yes, but he is responding to being heckled for promoting women's rights.

I have no idea what his politics are or how his act is constructed, I just like his retort.

youkiddingme · 18/08/2020 19:09

I think the whole heckler thing is part of the act, something a lot of his audience specifically go for. I think his politics are real but he plays it this way for the laughs and it's like a sport between him and his audience.

Yep, if not set up definitely encouraged & expected as part of the show. I do quite like his 'sidekick' though. He's not as full of himself as Steve.

Thingybob · 18/08/2020 21:02

The comedian was way too aggressive for my liking. I don't think his rage was anything to do with with women and I wouldn't pay to watch him.

The heckle was pretty innocuous and I agree the comedian was very aggressive in his response.

And not in the least bit funny.

Agree. He went way over the top. Also, I found his “look at me, see what a nice guy I am...” video overmuch. Be decent, move on. No need to parade your decency for strokes.
