This from BBC Sports App:

How coronavirus and finances affect elite British sportswomen www.bbc.co.uk/sport/53553809

I'm a big sports fan (of the armchair variety). I've been watching as sport has been re-emerging from Covid restrictions. English cricket team (mens) has been up and running with intra team matches and special bubbles for a while now. They are already on their second test match series with some one day games. County matches are happening I believe.

Women's England cricket team has only just started their intra team games.

I'm not surprised but it's disappointing.

All the decisions about removing restrictions by government are made by some male cabinet ministers and Dominic Cummings. The women in the cabinet are not involved.

Sport is just one aspect of life affected by this male bias. Remember that the Prime Minister is the most misogynistic for many years.
