I appreciate they've backed down and said they're not going to sell them but I wonder who exactly they thought their target market was?
Girls who want their breasts removed because they trigger them aren't exactly going to be grateful to have their surgery pointed out to all and sundry via their t-shirt.
I can only suspect that this kind of shitty garment will be worn by the men who're taking a savage and disturbing interest in what young females do to their own bodies when desperate. It's a signpost for the sociopathic. I do so hope they do matching leggings for the transwomen....

Already is a post on this
‘Top Surgery‘ T-Shirt - raising money for a well-known charity

Nice comment - I do so hope they do matching leggings for the transwomen....

They're absolutely vile. My niece is so excited about her impending double mastectomy and she'd probably wear one.

Ah! A white middle aged man, who is a medical doctor, thought it would be "a bit of fun". He's learned to talk woke, so he must be cool.

Not a thought for women who have breast cancer.

I'd like some pants for him, which demonstrate that he is a massive arsehole.

hoodathunkit · 13/07/2020 18:19

His friend has even made "art" of him cutting breasts

Not a thought for women who have breast cancer.

What dangerous and bordering on heretical opinions! As if it matters that women who've already lived through that surgery and associated chemo/radiotherapy should have their emotional reactions considered should they be unintentionally ambushed by seeing someone wearing that brave bit of fun Tshirt in the wild world. Hmm

Yes, I think it's ghastly, tacky, exploitative and normalises that which should not be normalised.

A white middle aged man, who is a medical doctor, thought it would be "a bit of fun".

I don't recall it properly but didn't LOJ approve of some tacky 'sex-positive' tshirt or other as a bit of fun? (Attractive young woman wore the Tshirt, possibly riffing on offering oral sex in exchange for votes. Found it: twitter.com/bindelj/status/1205104789991886848 )

First do no harm

SallyArmley · 13/07/2020 19:21

First do no harm
Second. Ignore First.
Third. Follow the money.
Fourth. Get a mate to paint a picture of you cutting up a woman's breast.
Fifth. Say. It's all a bit of fun. Repeat.

Dedicated to: Miles Berry Surgeon.

Here's the arsehole's bio.
Including his specialism via the NHS was - breast cancer and reconstructive surgery.

I'm equally angry and disgusted at what, to me, is a self -promoting, money driven individual. Horrible man.
