I have just read an article about Jean Seberg and the way the FBI destroyed her for her assumed pregnancy from a Black Panther activist. (In fact it was her husband‘s baby and Seberg felt the need to present the prematurely born girl, who did not survive, in an open casket at her funeral, to show she had been white).
Though ostensibly a story of an unethical FBI this story clearly reflects the age old story of males policing female reproduction and meting out punishment for perceived ‚reproduction outside the tribe‘.
