According to an gender role test I've just done (it's backed up by evidence - listed at the end) I am only 22% feminine.

Perhaps 20 years is too long a time to be expected to remember whether it was I or dh actually giving birth? I shall have to tell dd.

I'm in the middle, 58% feminine and 58% masculine. Undifferentiated-Androgynous.

The science museum used to have a machine that guessed your sex based on your hands, and it told me I was a man. I'm not. I assume it's down to the finger length ratios.

Weird questions. All the things I would expect everyone to click 'heavily agree' on. Doesn't everyone think they're loyal, likable and so on?

Anyway, 33% masculine, 22% feminine, undifferentiated androgynous apparently.

@PotholeParadise I think that's why a majority of posters so far have more masculine results than feminine. The traits we tend to view as positive and like to think we possess (assertiveness, loyalty, etc) are, in this silly test, associated with masculinity.

If you go through the test leaving it set in the middle for everything it comes out as 33% m, 33%f.

I'm wondering if it's actually two separate tests running in parallel, if you see what I mean (I can't gigure out how to explain this). So there is a meter from 0% to 100% for characteristics assigned as feminine and another meter for characteristics assigned as masculine.

It's the only thing that fits all the posts so far.

And if you go through the test clicking fully agree on everything it comes out as 100% Male and 100% female

Lots of those characteristics don't seem gendered at all. Happy, loyal - do they throw in some neutrals or are those being designated m of f?

I'm only three quarters of a man because I am 74% masculine and 44% feminine and WTF is the leftover bit do you suppose.

I'm undifferentiated androgynous. Whatever that means. I guess I'm non-binary. Gotta go dye the hair to match.

I also am less than 100% of a personality. I think the missing bit is the can't be arsed with bullshit bit.

But I am toying with the idea of telling my extremely woke kids that I'm coming out as non-binary, and they can no longer Mum-gender me.
