Trying not to panic but I couldn't take it anymore.

Several woke bloke posts this week about LGBTQI spaghetti and I just snapped.
Full of stuff like assigned at birth, same gender attraction- enough was enough.

I have pushed back privately and had my voice heard by HQ about not recommending mermaids for guidance but this is individual leaders posting.

All male funnily enough, and their Facebook posts they have made public are very fuck TERFs and I hate JK etc.

I worry for our young people

No idea. I couldn't care less what their sexuality is. They are touting resources to use to talk about LGBTQI+++ with young people. Assigned at birth is the correct medical terminology, same gendered attraction is the term for gay. Women who are attracted to women for lesbian but given the raging misogyny on display they don't get points for that.

Ahhh, women can't comment on any of the alphabet stuff but men can say what women are even when it defies logic, evidence and reason...that old chestnut. Do as I say not as I do...how convenient.

It seems to me that all this alphabet-spaghetti stuff has been big news recently because of Pride month. We need a women's month (ironic, huh? ) so we get our chance to have our voice heard.
It also seems to me that Pride has been taken up so enthusiastically by commercial concerns because it nicely fills the long gap between Easter-tat and Halloween-tat.

Well done for stepping up like that! After the jkr thing I reactivated my Twitter and have started learning more. I've only got as far as following some gender critical people and liking their tweets. It's just madness out there.

I want transwomen to be safe, to love, to live, to have security but I feel that I'm told my femaleness means nothing because being a woman is nothing to do with biology. My middle aged woman's body that has seen me through the most profound moments of my life, that has been the source of my joy, my fear, my decline and is the reason for some of the things I need. Now I'm told to think like this is HATEFUL and that want to ERASE transwomen . Women are women, transwomen are transwomen. I accept transwomen need protection and their needs to be accommodated but don't take mine away to do it.
