Man thinks a survey of a thousand women is proof that tranwomen are women.

Primogenture for females in the UK.

Including Transmen.

Let's all start discussing this.

BaronessWrongCrowd · 29/06/2020 23:07

Yes, it's used as an aggressive slur against women protecting sex based rights.

Gingernaut · 29/06/2020 23:08

Where the fuck did this arsehole find bbc.com?

Agrona · 29/06/2020 23:08

It, like C*S which can have your posts deleted if it is reported.

it also indicates something about the poster.

HerRoyalPain · 29/06/2020 23:09

ginger not a clue.

We surveyed 1000 hereditary peers about whether Trans Men are Men. Survey says ..... 0% agreed.

BaronessWrongCrowd · 29/06/2020 23:09

Just be wary that using T@RF might get you a strike as it is a banned term on this board.

Stressing · 29/06/2020 23:09

Oh. I was trying to make a quick point that whatever this mindset is on this thread - it seems to be the minority view among women.

Gingernaut · 29/06/2020 23:10

Can't find any reference to that 'global survey'.

Fucking twitter arseholes
HerRoyalPain · 29/06/2020 23:11

stressing it really isn't the minority view. Just the view that many women are afraid to admit publicly.
I have private messages.from many women saying they agree with my posts on Facebook but they can't or are too afraid to support me publicly because of the sheer level of abuse we get for stating biological reality.

Agrona · 29/06/2020 23:11

@Stressing

Oh. I was trying to make a quick point that whatever this mindset is on this thread - it seems to be the minority view among women.
And your source for that point? Maybe we should ask Germaine?
FannyCann · 29/06/2020 23:11

RubyViolet Grin👑

JellySlice · 29/06/2020 23:11

they do have the same rights. The right to use sex segregated spaces based on their sex.

Indeed. Though perhaps the 'same rights' referred to are actually the right to be silenced every time we speak, and the right to be threatened every time we do or say something the MRAs dislike, and the right to be colonised and defined by men.

ErrolTheDragon · 29/06/2020 23:12

Oh. I was trying to make a quick point that whatever this mindset is on this thread - it seems to be the minority view among women.

Nah. There are various properly done surveys which disprove that.

PurpleHoodie · 29/06/2020 23:12

Ruby

Sad face.

But. But. If TWAW, then Trans Men Are Men and then the UK Laws of Primogenture for ALL Classes are illegal. Yes?

#Headtilt

BaronessWrongCrowd · 29/06/2020 23:13

Interesting point Stressing but I think that you are wrong. Many women are afraid to speak out. They fear the abuse, the harassment, the doxxing, the threats, the possibility of the police turning up to with trumped up charges of hate crime, being piled on, the fear losing their job, the safety of their families. The list goes on. Just look at what happed to JK Rowling.

PurpleHoodie · 29/06/2020 23:15

UK Primogenture Laws.

Can we put that on a T-Shirt?

JokerAndTheThief · 29/06/2020 23:15

I don't feel I can publicly share my views. As well as general online abuse, which I don't think would bother me, I would be ostracised from my son's hobby which wouldn't be fair on him.

JokerAndTheThief · 29/06/2020 23:16

And I am also fearful of doxing, possibly losing jobs and being arrested

JellySlice · 29/06/2020 23:18

The Hampstead ladies committee voted this way in favour of admitting trans last year.

Did they? Or was it the Corporation of London who decided this?

HerRoyalPain · 29/06/2020 23:23

joker Cake (cake is better than flowers)
Hopefully one day soon women's voices will be heard and we can speak freely without fear.

Many many women (from my experience) don’t get what the problem is until they suddenly get it. The overwhelming social/media narrative is that the “right“ social opinion is that transwomen are women and it takes first being aware their is a discussion going on, second actually understanding the argumnents, third a light build moment or particular issue that makes you see it as plain as day and finally you have to be brave enough to change your opinion And then to actually open your mouth and admit that you have changed from the “right” to the “wrong” opinion. I wouldn’t be at al surprised if most women are still in the be kind stage, supported in that view by the general sense they pick up from media around them. It would take a survey sitting down and explaining all the terminology, the background to the various movements, precisely what was being advocated for and what was being defended, then you might be able to judge women’s true feelings on this issue. But without this it is just noise.

Found a similarly worded report from about 2 years ago.

OhGodWhatTheHellNow · 29/06/2020 23:48

I vaguely remember this, iifc some vested interest group did little pop up surveys in a handful of cities, not exactly a rigorous methodolgy cpmbined with a no doubt nice soft question to get the 'right' answer.
