Gender/biology debate - David Reimer

I've just been sent a link about David Reimer on Wikipedia during a debate about trans stuff and all that.

Anyway what this man went thorough was horrific - a scientist trying to prove that gender is a social construct ruined him by making him believe he was a girl. Interested to hear other woman's thoughts on this
