The petition, titled “Don’t call us menstruators”, garnered 3,000 signatures in less than three days before Change.org removed the petition for violating the site’s “Community Guidelines”.

My petition “Don’t call us menstruators” which had 3000 signatures in under 3 days has now been REMOVED by @change
for “violating the terms + conditions”.

They’ve literally silenced women on a petition about women being silenced. #WRONGTHINK #IstandwithJKR #BoycottBodyshop

'
'^Fun history lesson - when the UK joined the eu it had a limited time to choose which products could remain tax free before everything had to have vat on it. In 1973 there were 23 menstruators in parliament. So really the tampon tax is an issue of political representation.'

This is gross. How do they know? Did they ask them? I mean, WTF?

How many ejaculators in parliament? Men have far fewer life changes that affect their ejaculation status. Some may have erectile dysfunction though.

But female ejaculation is a thing. Albeit one exaggerated by porn. So that's not the best term. People who have testicles?

Fun fact. In 1973 there were x-hundred people with testicles in parliament.

???

I was born on 1973.

Presumably Maggie was in parliament then as an MP.

Even as a screaming leftie I flinch at describing her as a mentruator.

She was the first female PM in the UK. She was not born into wealth, she did well at school and got scholarships etc to get where she got. She must have been very ambitious, hard as nails, and very very clever.

Reiterating I have no fondness for her, I was s kid during mining strike etc.

But to describe her as a ' mentruator'. I mean. Just fuck off.

When she was born, women under 30 still couldn't vote. Nobody checked their identity.

People born with female biology need language to protect their rights and to describe the medical condition of being female, regardless of their feelings about their identity. I cannot comprehend why anyone would insist that 'woman' can only describe a vague personal sense of identity, and that those who disagree should be silenced.

People who have testicles?

Dunno if I’ve been hanging around FWR too long but this phrase makes me think of women with testicles in jam jars of formaldehyde 😂

This is the part I don’t get about GC feminists... you don’t want to be defined by your biology but you also want everyone to be defined by their biology. The whole point of using “people who menstruate” is that not all women menstruate and some people who don’t identify as women do menstruate. The only one equating women to menstruaters is you lot

You've said it yourself, (not all women menstruate)

Define yourself how ever you want. Go nuts. Leave me the fuck alone.

If you want me to accept your special words and the importance of your self definition then you accept mine too. And mine is that I have a biological sex, that is woman.

For the umpteenth time, how inclusive it to women who have never menstruated due to medical conditions (not because they were born a male) or women who no longer menstruate? They are still women

I no longer menstruate and how I feel about any period products that use the word woman is that it is a product that I no longer need.
there is no mental discomfort!
We don't go that specific on anything else do we? such as gloves 'for people with five fingers'.
This is PURELY about trans activism don't pretend it is about post- menopausal women that your faux concern is about.

Zombie thread revived by someone promoting testicle massage by the looks of things Grin

MichelleofzeResistance · 13/01/2021 10:10

Ah. Grin

Well the testicle massage makes as much sense as anything else that's been dumped on women this morning, Grint included.
